What are Colouring Cookies?

Colouring cookies are the snacktivity you've been searching for. 

Our Colouring cookies are sugar cookies that you can actually colour on with our edible ink markers. After you're finished colouring your cookie, you can eat your work of art. Trust us, it's even more delicious and rewarding when you've poured your artistic soul into it. 

How do you make the colouring cookies?

First, we take our famously soft sugar cookie and bake them with love. We hand ice each one with royal icing to create a perfectly smooth surface. We like to call it the 'canvas'.

Next, with a little bit of magic, we stencil on the designs.

Okay, let's back up. 

How do you get the stencils on the cookies?

Great question! We get asked this A LOT. We actually have industrial edible-ink printers that print on the designs you see on every cookie. Our in-house graphic designer makes the stencil files, our print techs print on the cookies and VOILA! The colouring cookie is complete. 

Each pack of our colouring cookies come with 10 individually wrapped (to ensure freshness) sugar cookies. Every cookie has its own unique design, so you never colour the same cookie twice. 

How do I colour the colouring cookies?

With our Edible Ink Marker Packs, you can colour the day away! What's an "edible ink marker"? It's elementary my dear. 

Our edible ink markers are essentially food colouring in a marker body! Non-toxic and unflavoured.

What makes our markers even better is the fact that they are double tipped - a fine tip and a thick tip. So you can be as detailed or broad stroked as you please.

Everything is 100% edible and 100% fun!

The best thing about the colouring cookies is that they can be frozen for up to a year in your freezer! So you don't have to colour all of them at the same time. When you take them out, let them thaw for about 30 minutes and they'll taste as fresh as the day you bought them.
